Committee Application Form

Thank you for your interest in the Handicap Committee.

The following is the official structure and purpose for this committee:

The Handicap Committee oversees the operation of the Association's Handicap service, ensuring that it is operated in full compliance with the requirements of the USGA Handicap System.

Time commitments can vary, depending upon your personal interest and desire for involvement, but at a minimum, you will need to be prepared to:

Attend one (1) new volunteer orientation meeting at the AWGA Office and six (6) regular Committee meetings annually; which may be attended via conference call if unable to make it to the office; commit 8 to 12 hours per month in addition to committee meetings doing the actual committee work.

Appointments to committee positions are made on an annual basis.
