Dear AWGA Club Member,
The Cactus and Pine Golf Course Superintendents Association
and the USGA are hosting the Golf Summit of Arizona
at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Conference Center
on March 16, 2005. As Executive Director of the Arizona
Women’s Golf Association, I have been asked to
speak at this event, which I believe is very important
to the continued health of golf in Arizona.
I am very excited that the organizers of this event have reached out to the women of our state to ask us to participate in planning for and creating growth in golf in Arizona.
The attendees at this meeting will be golf professionals, club owners and managers, golf course superintendents, and avid amateur golfers involved in the administration of associations and clubs. This will be a very interactive environment that will culminate with table discussions to generate ideas that we can all take back to our respective lives and implement for the good of golf in Arizona. As an active member of the AWGA, especially if you are also a leader in your club, I want to urge you to take the time to attend this meeting and contribute your positive, creative ideas. Please don’t let this opportunity slip by!
