Metropolitan Phoenix golf facilities hosting LPGA-USGA Girls Golf leagues September through December

Phoenix, Arizona - LPGA-USGA Girls Golf is a nationwide developmental golf program that encourages girls ages 6-17 to learn to play golf, build friendships and sample competition in a supportive and positive learning environment. LPGA-USGA Girls Golf of Phoenix is one of over 130 sites located around the United States.

The hosting facilities will be the Future's Golf Course at the 500 club, Moon Valley Country Club, Palo Verde Golf Course and Shalimar Country Club. A daily fee of only $8.00 includes range balls, 3, 6 or 9 holes of play and a tee prize. League play will take place once per week. Memberships in the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf program are required to participate in the league. The annula membership fee of $10.00 includes a free golf lesson with a local LPGA professional, golf back-pack, water bottle cover and tees.

LPGA-USGA Girls Golf of Phoenix is a part of the national LPGA-USGA Girls Golf program, which is the largest develpmental golf program in the nation exclusively for girls. It is organized and implemented through a partnership between the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and the United States Golf Association (USGA).

LPGA-USGA Girls Golf was originally established in Phoenix in 1989 by local LPGA T&CP member Sandy LaBauve and bacame a national initiative of the LPGA in 1994. LPGA-USGA Girls Golf is a program of the LPGA Foundation, a non-profit 501 (c) (3) charitable organization and the USGA.
