THROUGH OUR WEBSITE CALENDAR


The AWGA website is a great tool to get your information out to women all over the state. We are asking you, as Club Presidents and AWGA Representatives, to review your calendar for 2005 and 2006. See what tournaments you have booked and send them to comm@awga.org for posting in our website calendar. List your Invitationals, Guest Days, Charity Tournaments, Team Play Days, or any other event that you would like others to know about. Advertising your special events could fill your rosters, add new members to your club, and entice recreational golfers in your area to visit your course. It also allows us all better visibility when scheduling our own events. There are always conflicts, but the more we know about what’s already booked, the better we will be at choosing our conflicts wisely. Please do your part in making this information complete and accurate by sending us your schedule.

Our website offers a variety of practical and technical functions. Do your members know that they can post their scores on our website, verify their handicaps, and check out upcoming tournaments all over the state? Please talk to your members about our website and the value of its services. We are currently in the midst of re-designing it to improve navigation and functionality. We are expecting the new site to be up and running by the end of February. The redesign is expected to the difficulties people have in using our website because of the Norton Antivirus program.

In the meantime, we are asking that each of you take the time to educate your club members about the value and use of the AWGA website. It could open the doors to many opportunities within our membership.
