The tournament shall consist of 36 holes of stroke play conducted in accordance with the modified Chapman system (also known as Pinehurst) and with Rule 29, The Rules of Golf. The partners both drive from the tee, each partner plays a second shot with the other’s ball after which a choice is made as to the ball with which the hole is to be completed, continuing with alternate shots until the ball is holed.
The tournament is open to female amateur golfers who have a handicap index of 36.0 or lower and are AWGA members in good standing for at least 30 days prior to the first day of the tournament. If between the ages of 14 and 17, they must have a Handicap Index of 12.0 or less.

Gross and net prizes will be paid in each flight.
The player with the lower course handicap is allowed 60 percent of the course handicap. The player with the higher course handicap is allowed 40 percent of the course handicap. The team handicap is rounded to the nearest whole number.
